My studio practice addresses the idea of reassembling the injured, discarded
object and reanimating, altering and adapting its function to a new situation.
The reassembled, treated object and its malfunctions
operate as a behavioural metaphor for individuals. The sculptures display
the urge of longing for a continued existence. Using daily objects in
a humorous context adding an ironic social comment.
